Emma Boxall-Gray

Designs and makes handmade jewellery from her studio in Edinburgh.

Emma's work is inspired by the urban environment, in particular she is interested in texture, colour, scale and perspective. Growing up in Edinburgh and having widened her travels to northern Europe, she has been inspired by many interesting buildings. Rooftops, windows, doors and brickwork have become a characteristic focus and starting point for her work. Emma is also fascinated by the ongoing construction work of surrounding building sites and how they encapsulate an industrial quality.

The work is primarily made using oxidised and unoxidised precious metals, resin and acrylics.
